iPhone charger not supported


You might  wonder why you can't charge your iPhone using the ordinary USB charger you bought. According to some sources across the web, iPhone charging scheme uses all the 4 pins of the usb port including the data lines. This simple iPhone charger  can be constructed by adding only some resistor combinations across the USB data lines.

iPhone Charger circuit (500mA)
This is an ordinary iPhone charger that can be use if you are not in a hurry. Can charge your iPhone around 3 hrs if you are using high capacity battery (1420 mAh).

500mA iPhone charger circuit
Materials:

5V regulated DC supply like on your computer PSU
2-150k 1/4W
2-100k 1/4W
Note: make sure that your supply is regulated and can deliver atleast 500mA current.

iPhone Fast Charger circuit (1A)

This is a fast charger allows your iPhone to be charged around 1A current or making your iPhone fully charged around one and half hour for 1420 mAh rated (high capacity) battery.

2-100k 1/4W
1-120k 1/4W
Note: make sure that your supply is regulated and can deliver atleast 1A current.
