6 40W 12-220V simple inverter project

The output of this inverter project is square wave and delivers 175ma max to  1.2kohm load

Load  must not include equipments with motor that operates in purely sinewave source of 50 or 60 Hz frequency .The circuit is good in lighting  but ensure first that the load must not exceed the 45W for proper operation.

Resistor is  39ohm rated 10W while transformer is 6A 220V to 12V-0-12 V

for more protection, provide 4A fuse and a switch in series to the battery

  2. amit thank you for asking.
the transformer type is a step down transformer rated 220v primary voltage and 24v secondary center tap. The transformer marking is 220V for primary winding and 12V-0V-12V secondary winding side.

    Note:
this transformer is connected in reverse where its input will be the 24v center tap while the output is the 220V

  4. I am using a small 12V battery less than 10AH rating..But you can use any 12V battery. just take note that this circuit may result to excessive overheating when used in longer hours using larger batteries.

  6. The resistors will going super-hot, i have used values around 200 Ohm 5W and works great. You can use also on output of AC a capacitor connected in parallel.
